Caroline Castigliano at the Oscars!
Celia Walden, journalist, author and wife of CNN presenter and Mail on Sunday columnist Piers Morgan, stepped out in one of Caroline Castigliano's latest creations at this year's Oscars.
Celia wore a made to measure emerald green fishtail gown created in 100% silk duchess satin (flown in from Switzerland) and draped in a black beaded lace which has been created by one of the top Parisian lace houses. The gown is based on a complex integral corset that defines and sculpts the body and is a variation on one of the designer's 2011/12 creations just released last month.
"Celia looks absolutely stunning in the dress. She fell in love with the structured design of the dress - which will be perfect for her amazing figure - and its striking colour certainly made a statement on the red carpet," says Caroline Castigliano.
Caroline Castigliano has created dresses for stars from stage and screen including British actress Dame Helen Mirren and has previously dressed Celia for the BAFTAs earlier this month.
Celia, who writes for the UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper and also Russian Vogue, walked down the red carpet with her husband who wore Dolce & Gabbana.
Caroline Castigliano adds: "Celia is extremely beautiful and tall so it was a real pleasure to be asked to create her special dress for the biggest fashion event of the year. My dresses are simplistic, stylish and luxurious while making a woman feel sensual and glamorous. My ethos has always been to design for women that love style and appreciate beautiful fabrics and quality workmanship."
The 2011/12 collection is available exclusively at Caroline Castigliano boutiques.
