The Sky News team rock Castigliano at the Oscars
Jayne Secker and Lucy Cotter of Sky News may have been busy interviewing the stars at the Oscars last night but, thanks to their choice of Caroline Castigliano evening gowns, they certainly looked sensational whilst working that red carpet.
Flying the flag for British design, both ladies chose shades of purple for the night, a nod from Caroline to the season of Lent and a sure sign that the colour will be huge this year.
Jayne wore ‘Endevour' in a bold purple, ensuring all eyes were on her. The silk satin dress with pleated bust and brooch detail helped to create a really lean, feminine silhouette, with a soft fishtail creating real movement.
Lucy's gown was a customised version of ‘Starlight'. Usually seen as a strapless gown, Caroline added some graceful shoulder straps using the intricate beaded black lace used throughout the length of the gown, elongating Lucy's fabulous figure. The lace covered a purple, 100% silk duchess satin (flown in from Switzerland), which reflected against the exquisite beaded French lace and really shows the incredible beauty of the lace.
Well done Jayne & Lucy - you both looked absolutely sensational and we're proud to have been part of your big night.
